Mass vaccination DURING a pandemic has disastrous consequences

In March 2021, Geert Vanden Bossche raised alarm about “immune escape”

I’ve just listened to Geert Vanden Bossche’s talk at the Vaccine Summit Ohio from about a year ago, of the topic “Why should current Covid-19 vaccines not be used for mass vaccination during a pandemic?” It was a timely talk, given that vaccine rollouts had just started. Unfortunately, Vanden Bossche’s warning went unheeded. Throughout 2021, governments all around the world were obsessed with one goal: pushing for mass vaccination. One dose, two doses, three doses. And Israel is ahead of others with many on their 4th dose. What’s going on here? If anybody still bothers to look at the number of cases of Covid infection each day in U.S., EU, Israel, etc., I bet you cannot help but asking: is this some sort of joke? How come we are still not out of the pandemic after so many jabs? Have we made a mistake?

YES. It is a huge mistake. Vanden Bossche was there to explain, yet no public health officials listened. Now that the damage has been done to so many, what we can do is try to understand why and stop making further mistakes.

Vanden Bossche’s research is inspired by a key question: why do some people show no or very mild symptoms while contracting the virus? He calls this group of people natural asymptomatic carries (NACs). Vanden Bossche believes this question is so important that whoever fails to address it shows a lack of understanding of the pandemic and thus has “no rights whatsoever to intervene” it. Very interesting. So, what about this group of people?

NACs are typically young people, but could also be old. The common thing among NACs is that they have good innate immunity. Innate immunity is the immunity we are born with and the first line of defense of our immune system. It is antigen non-specific, which means it targets whatever “foreign body” that is invading us, be it a virus or a bacterium. And because it is antigen non-specific, it has no memory. Along with innate immunity, we also have adaptive immunity, which is induced by either infection or vaccination. Adaptive immunity produces antigen-specific antibodies and thus forms memory. Vanden Bossche points out that innate immunity is key to understand why there are NACs. As he explains, when the virus enters the body of a NAC, their antigen-presenting cells (for example, dendritic cells, or DCs) induce natural killer cells (NKCs) to recognize and destroy it (both DC and NKCs are cells for innate immune responses). The process is efficient enough so that the virus and its replicants are killed before the NAC gets an infection.

Now we understand why NACs do not get viral infection. Here comes another question: what will happen if when NAC gets vaccinated?

Vanden Bossche says if we vaccinate a person who is already incubating the virus, then there is high chance of immune escape. Since the immune system is already fighting against the virus, high intake of pathogens introduced by inoculation will place heavy burden on the immune system and thus debilitate it. A probable consequence is immune escape, i.e. the virus manages to bypass the response of their immune system and consequently causing infection. So to speak, if we do not vaccinate a NAC, their immune system will have no problem of fighting the virus. But if we give them an untimely vaccine, they will probably get infected with a suboptimal immune system.

Mass vaccination of non-NACs can also result in further increase in viral infection in NACs, Vanden Bossche warns. Vaccines will place high pressure on the virus, driving it to become more infectious. When it jumps back to NACs, they will face a virus that is more virulent and thus harder to handle by their innate immunity. Increased infection rate among NACs therefore happens. Delta virant is probably the case.

In addition to the above scenario, there is another way for the virus to escape immunity. Alarmingly, this escape route of the virus is provided by the vaccines that focus on the spike protein. It is known that the major vaccines against Covid-19 used in the Western countries all instruct the body to produce spike protein, either via mRNA or a virus vector. Vaccines place a huge selection pressure on the virus, which zeroes in on one thing: the spike protein. Guess how will the virus evolve then? Spike protein mutations of course! This is exactly what we see with the Omicron variant: the spike protein of this new variant is so different that the vaccine-induced antibodies do not recognize or bond with it. Perfect immune escape by the virus. And this is why we see so many tripled jabbed still get infections, which could have been avoided by not pushing for mass vaccination. For jabbed non-NACs, their adaptive immunity will be bypassed by the new variant. For jabbed NACs, it is even worse. Not only will the mutated virus evade their adaptive immunity, but their innate immunity will be inhibited since their antigen-specific antibodies introduced by vaccination will outcompete their natural antibodies (antigen non-specific) to bind with the antigen due to the former’s higher affinity with it.

In summary, Vandeen Bosche made an alarming call to withdraw mass vaccination by exposing its deleterious effects on our immune system. Given the significance of his message, we cannot afford to neglect it. However, a year has passed already and step by step, Vandeen Bosche’s predictions have come true. Either it is sheer ignorance, or intended for evil, our trusted institutions have screwed up public health.
